The Winchester Restaurant Guide has launched it’s new website utilizing the Wordpress platform to create an open guide for visitors to share their experiences and insights about local eateries. This new endeavor is focused at the local level. We are not a sub-page of a huge national site, we live here and work here in Winchester and want to share or experiences as well as hear from others who live here.

Developed by SynaVista to promote local businesses and the community, the Winchester Restaurant Guide is designed using a Wordpress magazine theme. These blog based sites provide the look and feel of a very refined publication, while at the same time offering all of the familiar features and tools of a traditional blog. “We chose this platform because it is open source and provides the professional look that we wanted for the site.” It allows us to continually update the content of the site and it automatically formats the information in the magazine style layout.
