My first visit…
So for anyone looking for that “new experience” that doesn’t compare…ya almost gotta try the new locally owned and operated English styled pub on the walking mall “Union Jack”…almost…meaning the following…
- The food (in my humble view) was expected…
- The service was really very good…
- The dinning room was CROWED, CRAMPED and VERY noisy…with way too high a ceiling to produce anything than an experience of dinning in a train station or better AN OLD BANK ! which is exactly what the place is…
- The Owner who did make it to my table for a chat was and is very kind and sincere…
- The beer selections where many and seemingly in good standard…and finally…
- The Bar, which I could see from my seat in the front of the house AND had the pleasure of “using” before my table was ready…
- The finger food menu which I did not par-take in looked again expected…
- However and not to on and on about this I just couldn’t get past the poor lay-out of the place and the struggle that I went
- thru to just fill my basic needs…get something to eat and drink to fill my big and growing belly…
on a scale from one to ten…I’d give the place a 7 and I’d be looking to go back maybe soon….just hoping I don’t forget my cotton balls for the ol’ear drums…
