Restaurants in Winchester VA - Diners are vanishing. The Amherst Diner seems to be the last diner in WInchester. It’s tucked away on a really strange intersection on the west side of town and is more of a nostalgic experience than anything else.  The food is good and pretty cheap. Don’t go in with expectations, just find something on the menu. If your in the mood for a diner it’s a winner.

    LOVE this place…Love It, Love it, Love It…
    there’s just no where else from my view in Winchester to get a real “home cooked” fill’ya up meal that is delivered consistatly with a smile…

    Breakfast every hour they are open AND maybe the berst dam sweet tea in town.

    PS; I’m gonna marry the lady that makes the pies for them…not sure you could inprove a thing…
    GO its well worth your time and very little money…
