This place is a gem. The best BBQ in the Winchester area and about as authentic as they come. Driving through White Post, you might miss the place because it looks more like an abandoned gas station than a restaurant. But don’t be fooled, these guys take their BBQ seriously and they have a gift. The pork ribs rock and chicken is excellent. Don’t miss out on the sides. Great collard greens and sweet potato fries. But the real must have if you visit is the sweet potato pie. It’s an unusual southern dish but man is it good. Stop in on the weekends and have a carryout delight.

I think this might be the best barbecue place in Virginia. I am a barbecue purist and I have made a point to eat it all over to find the best of the best. Mr. B’s does not disappoint. If you drive past this area, you would be well advised to stop in and try them. The folks who work there are very friendly and they always take great care of me. I’m a repeat customer and eat here every chance I get.
